Before you choose your itinerary.
How many days do you need to see Tenerife?
With 3 days you can cover Teide, Anaga and the west. With 5, you add the north and a coastal day. A week lets you slow the pace and give each area its own day.
Can I extend a shorter itinerary?
Yes — each longer itinerary is built on top of the previous one: the 5-day adds two days to the 3-day, the 6-day adds one more and the week-long one adds another. You don't have to get it right first time if you later decide to stay longer.
Are the itineraries all the same type of trip?
No — each itinerary has variants depending on what you're after: family, sun and beach, nature or culture. Choose first the days you have and then the focus that suits you best within that length.
Do I need a car to follow these itineraries?
For most, yes — they combine summit, north, south and west in a few days, and those areas are not well connected to each other by public transport. A hire car simplifies the route a great deal.
