Aqualand Costa Adeje is the only park on the island that combines a water park and a dolphinarium in one site: 55,000 square metres of slides, pools and children's areas a few minutes from Siam Park, in the heart of Costa Adeje.
Its big difference from other parks in the south is the dolphinarium, with a daily show at 15:30 starring bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), and the Lava River, a lazy river over 500 metres long that runs through much of the site.
The park has nine slides of varying intensity: the Kamikazes (two parallel, steeply inclined lanes), the Tornado (a centrifugal drop into a funnel), the Flying Boats (two 272-metre slides that intertwine in a spiral) and the Multisurf, with six lanes and 100 metres to race down at full speed. For a gentler pace there are the Lava River (over 500 metres long), the Wave Pool and the Vulcano Spa, an outdoor jacuzzi; and for the little ones, Pirate Island, Pirate Port and the Kids Pool. All these family areas are heated to 24 degrees.

Aqualand houses around ten bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and stages a daily educational show at 15:30 that the park itself presents as one of the best rated in the world by IMATA. Anyone who wants something closer can book a dolphin encounter at the ticket office, separate from the entrance ticket (from age 5 at the pool's edge, from 135 cm to enter the water); places are limited, so it is best to book as soon as you arrive.
